My problem is that I am sending the PATCH26.EXE to a guy 500 miles away and sending him instructions on how to operate the patch from the environment.

This particular program is for Real Estate Agents who are not typically computer literate, so it is hard to get them to run these patches properly.

I have been using the PATCH2.EXE for my Toronto Area customers because I run it myself. And it has always worked.

But respecting the realities of support for remote customers, I have developed a 32 bit version in VFP 6.0 for this product. There was one section involving key stroke macros that had to be rewritten, but other than that the conversion process was not too bad.

So thanks for your help on this. I have PATCH26.EXE in my bag and I will be using it for my local customers because it does sound like an improvement over PATCH2.EXE.
