hope that some of you can help me. here is my situtation: i've completed a VFP app that reads emails from MS Outlook thru automation. it also sends client emails from my app to MS Outlook. all was fine until my client started receiving japanese emails w/ attachements wherein the filenames are in japanese. i used the _browser control (from the ffc) to display the emails so japanese characters are diplayed well. but in the text boxes and edit boxes the japanese characters are not displayed properly. moreover i store the attachement filenames in a memo field and use a listbox to display then later if the user wants to save it on a local hardisk. the app is running in a windows Me- japanese w/ MS Outlook 2000 -english running. my app was compiled in a win98 - english machine. what would be the best avenue to take in order to solve this problem?
