Thank you for the samples it works very fine,but the problem still not solved.

My form is a Top level form(frmMain) with three 3 text box bound to memory variables and i created 3 properties also.

i have top level menu in my form.

in my menu, when i click update master, it does do programs\updatemaster

in this updatemaster.prg if i say frmMain.property1=m.value1 i get error message
Object FRMMAIN not found.

I call the frmmain by DO FORM master name FRMMAIN
