Well, for testing, it's better to use MTDLL as we can automate the update of the DLL just by building our DLL. A small hook can be added in the project info.
Once we go in production, it's just a question of deciding which approach to take. If we really wish to benefit of that on the production server as well, we might leave it as is. See my upcoming July 2002 article on it.
