>We moved the backend of our system to Microsoft SQL Server 2000 because we were starting to bump up against the 2 gig limit. And projected growth for our company currently looks very good. Once the FoxPro backend is lost there seems to be no point to tie ourselves to the VFP front end.

William;

The choice of which tool to use and why is a business decision and you are in a better position to understand the entire picture better than anyone outside your organization.

I must say that I enjoy VFP as a front end for the type of work I do. Combined with a framework it has provided me with a means to create applications quicker than when I have to use Visual Basic or other development tools. You always have to look at the present as well as the future. To not be aware of what tool to use and the direction your business is taking is dangerous.

By the way we just got back from a week in San Diego, which is one of the greatest places I have ever enjoyed!

Tom
