The grids are already in containers. I thought about hiding them, but on some forms there are several grids. Figuring out which ones need hiding, or hiding all of them will be PITA! I'm hoping we don't have to do this.

I did find a VCX here named COMMCTRLS that has a drop down calendar control in it. This control will display over the grid. However, I'm having other problems closing forms and getting the control do display at times.


>Just a shoot in the dark: can you put your grid in a container? Then, you could play with the container's code to hide it when the calendar gets the focus. I think this happens because activex controls use a different hwnd handle.
