I have been playing with Cryptor for the past hour. Their website and help files are not too informative.

I assume to use an encrypted file I must first CRYPT_DECODE it. But then if I shut down VFP7 without re-encrypting it, it remains decrypted. Am I doing something wrong?

As well, if I CRYPT_DECODE a table before opening it, what if someone then copies the file to another folder? I can see how well Crypt would work to prevent someone from getting at the data while my application is not being run (if the application had been shut down properly the last time and the files had been properly re-encrypted), but I need more security than that.

Thanks in advance,

David Reeves
