I am running around in circles here, totally missing something obvious. Here's the problem:

Inside a loop I am taking a set of data and validating it (this is in the save code of a data-entry form)

there are multiple sets of data to process, if one fails validation the code displays a message and sets focus to the offending entry-field. What is happening is the message displays, focus gets set then the code just keeps on going.

How do I get this set up so the loop cannot continue until the user has corrected the value?
