Nope - they are able to write to this table using other procs in the exe. The view itself is very simple - several fields from 1 table and 1 field from another. Since I do not plan to ever upsize this app and since readwrite cursors can do the same job as local views I do not plan to ever use a local view again. That is unless someone can tell me why this is happening and how to prevent it.
