If you issue a replace command on a record that is optimistically table buffered and you issue a second replace on the same record, do you get a record is in use error?

Record Example:
Key Field1 Field2
A MyName 100.00

first you REPLACE Field1 with 'NewName' in exampletable

later you REPLACE Field2 with 50 in exampletable

- My problem is occuring in a grid with a field that has this called from a lostfocus command. It only happens if while in the field I press CTRL+INS which causes the following events
KEYPRESS
INSERT
REFRESH grid
field.LOSTFOCUS
--- second replace command...
