When I try to open Windows help from the start bar, I get "Cannot open the file: mk:@MSITStore:D:\WINNT\help\windows.chm". The first symptom was that my InstallShield Developer 7.03 help files wouldn't come up, but a little exploration revealed that my Windows 2000 system was unable to display any HTML Help files anywhere. I checked file dates on HH.EXE, HHCTRL.OCX, ITSS.DLL and ITIRCL.DLL, reinstalled Windows 2000, service packed it to SP2, updated to IE 6, all to no avail. Any Ideas? I need the InstallShield help files to ship my VFP 7/MSDE 2000 application.
