Hi Sebastian!
I tried your suggestion. The PROBLEM IS THAT while updating multiple tables (3 or more), if the table update fails on 3 or higher, all preceeding tables get committed while remaining tables do not.
A good friend of mine who is a Microsoft MVP thinks that foxpro performs poorly when updating multiple tables. He suggested that the only way to handle this is to find a work around.
I will be very interested to know that what you think. I am new to Visual Foxpro, but in DOS version I have an application written for multiuser environment some of which have 50+ users each. I realized that visual foxpro takes a different approach using views. But proper updating is such a fundamental necessity and must find a way to handle it...
