I zip and send a fair amount of tables tied to a DBC database container to my salespeople every morning. Zipped file is approx 600k. Sometimes when they try to acess the files via my VFP7 app it tells them the index does not match the database and needs to be re-indexed. Other times it complains that the tables are invalid. We FTP other files to them zipped on a regular basis and have no problems. Anybody have any clue why FTP screws up DBC or DBF files. I know its not PKZIP/WINZIP because I can open the zipped file on my FTP server with no problems.
