How can I programatically create an email with a Detail field displaying a HTML table. If I set he detail field to a HTML table definition, it just displays the HTML text and not the table.

You can't do this using MAPI. Using MAPI, all you can send is plain ascii text.

If you want to send formatted HTML, you need to move to something else like Cdo for Windows 2k or later.
