>Hi - just wondered how folk deal with having more than one developer on the same project - we have used visual source safe with VB which allows you to book out forms to work on and you can run the project while the other developer is working on other forms etc...

We generally have multiple copies of the project file saved in a "private" directory. The main project directory is where all of our builds are done from. Once the app (source, project, etc.) has been added to Source Safe, we'll just join it and tell SS to create a copy of the project in our own private directory. That way, none of us is using the same files at the same time - we've got our own private copies of everything. Of course, we check things in as they are completed. When we do a build, we have a dedicated user we log in as, that has their own copy of the project. We resync the project in VFP (avail. off the menu), check out everything and do our build.
