You have to have Adobe PDF Writer installed on the machine (or a competing product - one called Amyuni comes to mind as I have seen it a lot on threads here) and then you do your normal REPORT FORM .... TO PRINTER but first you set your default printer to be the Adobe printer. The Adobe "printer" is a print driver that captures the data stream, formats it like a print driver would but instead of sending it on to some printer, it sends it instead to an adobe file (which you name at the time you run the report - a print dialog comes forward and asks you for a name). This can be automated (somewhat). WestWind software has a class in it for sending to .pdf files (which you get when you purchase some of their other software). I would also guess that if you search the threads here that you will find code to do the same thing. Note that you cannot use Adobe Writer on a server (unless you license it that way from Adobe) whereas products like Amyuni you can (but the cost is higher). Depends upon whether you have one or a few people creating and emailing reports or a whole company. Amyuni is based in France I think.
