We sometimes work dual on the same project and haven't adopted VSS or anything similar (yet). Another way that I didn't see mentioned is to MODI FORM? or MODI REPORT?, etc., exclude these from the Project, run a Test by directly running Form or DO PROGRAM from command window. When tested, roll out changes by just copying to production or beta directory, w/o having to update EXE or rebuild anything.

The VSS approach is much better, just thought I'd mention this for completenes...
