VFP Mac problems would not apply.
For the most part, you are just feeding HTML to a browser and fulfilling requests that come from a browser. You don’t necessarily care what OS the browser is running on.
There are a few behavioral issues that are a little flaky on the MAC browser. They are manageable. My guess would be that a VFP / WebConnect app accessed by a MAC would be faster than a FileMaker app running on the MAC.
It’s not uncommon for us to send 5000 OPTIONs to a list box when someone is clicking around the system. (With fixed width font | separated columns in each line)
Performance is pretty much a non issue.
