I know, so many discussions about it. I'm just starting using VF7 more seriously and choosing a framework seems to be my first challenge.
Thanks to Claudio Lassala, I found all valuable information through the threads here, went to the wikis, visited the vendors, downloaded the samples ... and now I'm down to CodeMine and MereMortals.
Noticed that MM was elected the best by UT users. I would love to know the reasons for this, since I found lots of CodeMine supporters here too.
Another way of choosing a framework is to attend a conference (at least the vendor section) and have each of the framework vendors show you the best aspects of the framework. Then, ask for an example of something that would help you in your day-to-day job.
This is probably the best way to review frameworks.
I've gone through the purchase of several framework back when VFP5 was out and it's really not the best way to approach the descision - at least for us it wasn't. Wish you luck!!
