I forgot how to display the text when the form refreshes or displays so that I do not see the words, Memo or memo, in the grid column. Can someone please remind me what to do? Thanks!

Add an edit box to the grid column, make it the Column's CurrentControl, and set the column's sparse property to false.

BTW, if you happen to have a copy of 1001 Things You Wanted to Know About VFP, there is an expanding edit box in chapter 4 that uses a shortcut menu to expand to fill the entire grid if the users need to see more of the information the edit box contains.
