Claudio Reyna said that before the game, the Mexicans were laughing, apparently not taking the US too seriously. There were quite a few cheap shots at the end, especially directed at Cobi Jones. He has been around for a long time, and there is probably some bad blood between him and the Mexican team.

Yes, it should have been called. John O'Brien said that his arm was pushed up by the Mexican player into the path of the ball, but I am not quite sure I believe it :-).
