I knew, somebody would tell me that :) LOL

BTW, read this article in UT Mag, if you didn't yet. I'm sure you would enjoy it as much as I do.

>Nadya, I had to laugh when I read your post! Just 'imagine' that you work for the government--I did as a civilian for 7 years and we needed to view records that way all the time! I know, it IS crazy, but there ARE reasons for it. :o) *G* Thank goodness I don't have to worry about that anymore! :o)

>>Hi Vlad,
>>
>>I read your article yesterday in the evening in UT Mag (Grids part 3) and enjoyed it very much. You're paying so much attention to every little possibility and detail, it's facinating.
>>
>>But one part was a little bit funny: Do you think anyone would ever want to have sort of FirstName in ascending order and LastName in descending order? I could not imagine, why this would be necessary :)
>>
>>Thanks again.
>>
>>>Hi!
>>>
>>>You're true that there is no built in way for adding graphics to header. But this is posisble, and approach is developed. No matter what control you place over the grid header - a set of lines in container, or image, the approach I developed will work. You just have to make your own sorting indicator class < s >
>>>
>>>I think Nadya wanted to say that it is not correct that there is no possibility to add graphic to the header. With the same success as I did for that sample, you can use Image control and your own image placed over the grid header.
>>>
>>>There is a reason why I did not used image in this case:
>>>Its hard to change color of lines inside of the image on the fly. In my sample you can right click on the header and change color of the header. Then see how arrow reflects it. With intermediate brightness colors arrow is also colored properly. On dark or light color background it is also always visible no matter what color you use.

>>>>I think I´m not wrong. The class you mentioned (Sortable Grid) shows that triangle indicator, but this triangle are not trully graphical.
>>>>If you download the class and open the code, you will note that the triangle is built using line object.
If it's not broken, fix it until it is.
