What you may want to do is set the AlwaysOnTop property of your splash screen to .T. Then either release it or set the property back to .F. after a short period.

>Ah right!!! - the way some properties knock out others is a bit of a science in itself isn't it??? I have never really tested the modality of my splash by clicking elsewhere on the desktop but I tried it a moment ago and sure enough - it's as modal as a non modal form...LOL!!!!
