viri - 1st 50 pages, 3 references as plural of virus, of which 2 question if it is the correct spelling
viruses - 1st 50 pages - all usage as plural of virus - medical, biological & predominantly s/w.

I won't disagree on the usage increasing, but I know which spelling I'll use for the time being when searching for info about viruses/viri.
