Yes, I use Copy To...Type SDF a lot using an English localized VFP 6 version, and have no problems at all. The Portuguese idiom (spoken in Brazil) has many diacritical marks too, as the Spanish idiom has.

I would make some tests changing your Windows regional settings (I have mine set to Portuguese), to see if it affects somehow.
