Yes it already is. I checked the properties.

I wil try this. Right now, Form A has the Find commandbutton whose click event opens Form B which has a text box to receive the users input. After input into this field, the user clicks Find on Form B. All records that match the user's entry are display.

>3. In form B let the user select the record they want in the grid
Here the User clicks on the desired record in the gri which captures the clientID.

>4. On return to Form A the record pointer will be on the record the user selected.
Right now, the code as it is works on and off i.e., sometimes, it displays the record selected in Form A, and sometimes it does'nt. And what I am trying to do is understand why that is happenning. Becuase, if it shows it once, why not it be consistent?
