I'm working on an application written in VFP 5, and am hoping to copy a grid from an old form and paste it in the form I'm currently working on; the original grid has a lot of the same "stuff" that I will need for the new one. The problem: the original grid has 7 columns but I only need 5 for the new one. I would like to remove (delete) columns 1 and 5 and would like to do so without having to change the grid.columncount to 5 then change the properties of all the remaining columns.

Any ideas on how I can delete specific columns other than changing the parent grid's column count?
