I’m not sure you can compare them. I mean, just how do you compare two languages and IDE’s? You can compare the features, but both Fox and .NET are featured rich. If you need a front-end database than I’d chose VFP- hands down. The only thing I see against VFP is the future or rather, a lack of a future. I personally see a fine future for Fox and I’m not worried a bit. But others disagree. Keep in mind that VFP can create web services, can be accessed via ASP or even PHP (I think), makes a wonderful front end to any backend and it’s cheap.
