I don't know whether this is an ideal approach - but I created a form to show article pictures in a fixed size (on screen) - the pictures may be shown bigger or smaller than the original. Then, with a button, the user sees the picture in another form, in its original size. Of course, you could also change the display attributes on the same form.

The relevant property, for the Image control, is .Strech.
