Is the grid ColumnCount set to -1? If so the grid will construct itself showing all of the fields in the table. If you set the ColumnCount to 3 it'll create columns for the forst three fields and then you can just change the Column.ControlSource to the specific fields you want to see.

You can also use the Grid builder, but that's going to end up aetting a whole raft of extra properties away from default.

>I want my grid based on a table so I can update the records. However, I only want three specific fields to be listed in the grid. My grid is displaying the data of the table just as it appears in the table eventhougt I have my ControlSource in the column bound to a particular field.
