We run VFP apps using VFP tables over Terminal Server,VFP apps using VFP tables over Citrix, VFP apps using VFP tables over LANS/WANS, VFP apps using SQL over LANS/WANS, and VFP apps using SQL over Citrix. So far, the access speed is determined more by the distance, connectivity type (dialup,dsl,cablemodem,10/100mb,fiber), and the size of the datastores than anything else. In other words, VFP tables over terminal server work fine but when you get to MANY clients then Citrix is far better. When you get to many clients and greater data, then SQL is better as a backend with connectivity using Citrix for large distances. See what I mean? There are many options depending on the datasize, number of clients, connectivity type, topology, etc.
