Hi, Everybody!

I'm using the CreateObjectEx() to instantiate a component (in-proccess DLL) that's hosted by another machine (a w2k server). I've generated the "exported" package on the Component Services of the server, and installed it on my notebook (running winXP pro). Well, it works fine.

Now, my questions are:

I really need to install this package on the client (I've tried to use the CLSID, but it doesn't work)?

Needing to install the package on the client, the client are obliged to have MTS/COM+?

I just installed MTS (from NT option pack) on a Win 98 box, but I just can't install the win2k package on it...

any tips?
