Sorry- autoquote was turned off...there's a lot of smoke in the air here in Denver today - must be affecting my cognition! ;-) See below for comments.

This is fine except for one client who sends all in a blob with no cr's. I can test for the length of a line and deal with it that way, I guess.

I don't think it's the client as I get the identical string whether calling from ASP.NET or from VFP.

I'm not sure of this. I must admit I've never had to transmit file contents over a remote connection (FTP excluded), so if there's a better way, I'm open to ideas.
