I wasn't thinking of UT when I posed the question. On the UT I would expect to see it kept as simple as possible. When I post to the UT, I do the same thing, I don't want to post my class definition evertime, when it has nothing to do with the subject at hand.
I just happened to be examining some code from a download and realized that I never seem to see that trick when I'm looking at someone elses code. It made me wonder if there was a reason no one seemed to use it.
I've never heard of "Mom's rule". What is that?
