>We are currently running an application under Windows 2000 Advanced Server using
>Terminal Services. Our clients connect to the servers using Internet Explorer on Windows NT 4 and Windows 2000 workstations. On the first connection, this will require the downloading of an Active-X component, so the user sufficient permissions to install the control or an administrator will have to handle this first connection.

Not all users use the TSAC web control; you always have the option of using the Terminal Server Client or Terminal Server Advanced Client without the Web interface (both are scriptable, a real advantage) or an RDP connection. There are functional and security-related advantages to using the non-Web-based TSC options, and the licensing cost can be held down where only a small number of client systems need access, since you can buy seat licenses rather than the Internet connector license for WTS.
