Hi,
You can INDEX ON field1 TAG FieldTagName OF myTable.CDX to create CDX index file
However, as I know, the performance is not related with IDX or CDX, instead the index expression (Rushmore).
If you want to create more than one index for a table, then CDX is the way to go.
