>> but short of 'interrputing' the flow on any SEND to remind/solicit the required feedback, I see no practical way to solve it. I know that interrupting my SENDs would drive me batty real quick.

Actually, with the frames UI design that the UT uses, there could be almost zero flow interruption to clicking a thumbs-up or thumbs-down link to rate a message. You submit the URL, and what returns back is perhaps just HTML that says "thank you" to replace the tumbs in a tiny frame. Meanwhile the rest of the browser's contents wouldn't even flicker since these would not be refreshed or interrupted in any way.

I'm glad for you that you like the signal to noise ratio on the UT. If we all liked the same things, everyone would be hitting on my wife < s >. But more to the point, if the signal to noise ratio was really good, in other words if the UT's value proposition was really good, then Michel would have become a deca-millionaire long ago. The UT's value proposition may be positive, and for some people it may be sufficiently positive, but I submit that for a significant proportion of people it's no great shakes, and it could be vastly improved with a bit of thought.

All I'm saying is a great way to improve the UT is to give greater buoyancy to the nuggets and, if possible, deprecate what's incorrect or certifyably wrong.
