Pamela, thanks for this and I'll look into what you say. I seem to have it working using Myform.grd1.ActivateCell(Myform.grd1.RelativeRow,ln - Myform.grd1.ActiveColumn + Myform.grd1.RelativeColumn)
... in amongst a bit of other code. Thanks for the help.
