You could search for references to the table names, with a string searching utility, there should be a couple in the download section. But it depends on the system, what if the name is generated and not hardcoded?.

My advise would be to leave it alone, change only what's explicitly required, don't try to fix more than necessary, that is usually my approach to other people's code when it's not properly documented, which is usually the case.
