I would try to tunnel it though a different port somehow, maybe run a local socks5 proxy to do it. You can try something like http://www.http-tunnel.com/HT_Products_HTTPTunnelClient.asp ...there are a lot of things out there that work similar to this.... I know http://www.antifirewall.com/intro.htm has one that works good with FTP.
