I have created a VFP-exe that I want to use for a web-site. The exe is intended to create a report and to write it directly into a pdf-file.

When creating the object in VFP and firing the method everything works fine. I can debug it and I can see that the report is created. The pdf-file is created as well (without any user intervention). However, when I create the object from an asp-page I don't see the pdf-file created. I have written a little logging class that writes strings into a text-file so I can see where the process stops. Running the exe in VFP writes all the entries in the file. When running from asp nothing is written into this file.

What is causing this? Do I need special rights to do this? The object is writing data outside the IIS-folder but it is also accessing data outside this folder without any problems. I have set the web-sharing properties of this folder to Read, Write and execute. What am I missing....
