I pass a date by programming to Crystal report 8.5

xValue = DATE()

cValue = " # " + DTOC(xValue) + " # "

*-- X = item of {@date}
THIS.crreport.FormulaFields.ITEM(x).TEXT = cValue

Unfortunately CR 8.5 retoure an American date.
How to place a Eurpéaan date ?
" # " + DTOC(xValue) + " #, ' dd mm yyy' " does not function....
