Enmanuel,

You could also read the book "C/S Apps with VFP and SQL Server" by Gary DeWitt, Chuck Urwiler, Mike Levy and Leslie Koorhan. Although the book tends to lean more towards remote views and SPT rather than ADO, there is a chapter on ADO that weighs the pros/cons of it. Check it out at http://www.hentzenwerke.com/catalogavailability/csvfp.htm

>Hi I'm giving my first footsteps into C/S programming using ADO and need some guidelines. I've found a paper in the MSDN web site named "ADO Jumpstart for VFP Developers" and even when I find it very helpful still need some advice.

>My first question is referring to the connection object. Is it preferable to have a single connection for the whole app or a connection for every form in the app? I know every method has its pro and cons but want some of your toughts based on real life projects and experiences.
