Hi all,

I'm using a container in a grid to show multiple items per grid row (following the Jenny Browns article in Foxpro Advisor June 2000). I know it sounds ugly and I generally avoid much data editing in grids, but I've got 1 textbox, 2 editboxes, and a combo in a container dropped on a grid that has a single column. To my amazement, it seems to be working except the refresh. The initial refresh of the grid works okay, but if you go into one of the fields, then click on another record, its refresh seems to lag. Actually, it shifts to showing the values from the previous record until you click on each of the current fields. When they get focus, they immediately refresh to show the correct current values.

Looking through other UT records, I saw a mention of "containers not being natively supported in grids" and needing to manually do some refreshes using "Dynamic*" property, but I'm not sure what this is about.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

(Using VFP 7.0 base classes for testing. The grid has a single column whose Sparse and Bound properties are .f.. There is nothing special about the container.)
