The standard REINDEX foxpro command may help. However it is better to remove the cdx file and recreate it using index data stored separately and for use in this case.
You could create a ARCHIVE_INDEX_table having index expression, tagNAme and filter and scan this table appropriately when recreating index file.


>I get corrupted cdx files on a frequent basis. If I was using a idx file, I could run a routine to recreate all the idx files in the system that the user can run to fix indexing problems themselves. Is there a method of recreating cdx files by using a pack command or something else to fix cdx files
