I have a table with a couple of chacter fields and a memo field. I built a form with a grid based on this table. I ran the form the first time and I had the word MEMO of course where the memo field was.

You double click it just like a browse and you can edit the memo which is OK, but what I really wanted was for the Grid to show the user what was in the memo field without having to double click.

So, I thought, I'll just change the default textbox control on the grid to an editbox control. I switched it and it still says MEMO when you start the form. But now if you single click on the word MEMO it shows the contents of the memo field right in the grid. It doesn't open the little edit window like before.

This is much better, but I'd still like to get rid of the word memo and just allow the users to see the contents of the memo field right away when they open the form. Does anyone know if/how this can be accomplished.
