>If I want to 'control' an Excel spreadsheet from within Visual Foxpro using OLE commands, which version of Excel do I require? In other words, can I use Excel from MS Office standard, professional or developer editions?

The main question is the major version - you should use Excel 97 or later, since Excel 95 uses a completely different programming language.
