I sent to your e-mail as attachments two sample files: XLS and VSD. They are from different application, but I think they are good sample. In xls file is described the Accounting app menu. I think that existing menu can be described starting from main menu pads - fill them in a column and after that gathering information about every one submenu and adding rows for every bar in submenu.
