This is not the help you are hoping for, but speaking from my experiences of using Excel in vfp for 3-4 years now:

Without testing the code myself: You must retest your vfp/excel OLE & VBA code for each version of both vfp and Excel. Often there are subtle changes made in an upgrade version that need slight modifications. That's likely what happened in your case to Rick's code. Unless someone can give exact help (and you need to state versions/SPs of both VFP & Excel for help, I suggest, to get exact help, probably) gives you a direct reply, you will just need to debug as normal - start with a little bit of code and add on parts until you find the problem. I've been through this now with vfp/excel several times, where a version change casues a behavior difference.
