My experiences with ASP.NET are turning out to be major frustration....this one is good!
Problem:
I have code that worked yesterday, but is breaking today. Not a problem, I'll debug it....
However, when I try to debug, I get to a particular line in code (a dim statement), and press [F8], the system sits and thinks for a while and the yellow indicator rests back on the same line! After that, if I press [F8] again, the indicator disappears, my web browser comes back up with a partial pageload status indicator in the lower right corner (it doesn't seem to move) and the program goes into stasis until I cancel the program (which I can still do normally).
I assume that the debug has lost calibration with the asp code server. I have built & rebuilt the project to no avail.
F.Y.I. - the line of code is:
dim g_len = gnfilehandle.length -1
Any suggestions before I throw my copy of VS.NET into the river would be most appreciated!
